What Happens in a Submission

Wrestling Session?

Our submission wrestling program is built for adults 15 years and older, whether you’re completely new to grappling or looking to sharpen your skills for competition. Each class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally, all in a supportive, authentic environment.

What to Expect in a Typical Session:

Warm Up & Mobility: Movement drills and dynamic stretching to prepare your body for training.

Technical Instruction: Step-by-step coaching on takedowns, positional control, escapes, and submissions.

Drilling & Repetition: Practice techniques with a partner to build muscle memory and confidence.

Live Sparring: Apply what you’ve learned in controlled, supervised rounds with resisting opponents.

Cool Down & Q&A: Stretching and time to ask questions, get feedback, and set goals for your progress.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

Not at all. You’ll build fitness through training. Our sessions are designed to meet you where you’re at and help you improve at your own pace.

What if I’ve never done any martial arts before?

Everyone starts somewhere. Our beginner-friendly onboarding helps you learn the fundamentals in a way that feels safe, clear, and encouraging.

Will I get hurt in sparring?
